        Enjoy a hearty and nostalgic Sunday Brunch with pastries, eggs, toast and more in the Courtyard with the MIT graduate community!

        Experience a cultural trip in comfort together with SP residents by watching one of the award-winning international movies "Rang De Basanti", which documents the story of freedom fighters in India's revolutionary movement.

FAQs

Will I be expected to be vaccinated and/or wear a mask during the reunion at MIT?

  • MIT expects that individuals attending the reunion at MIT events who are eligible to be vaccinated will be up to date on their Covid vaccinations or have a medical or religious reason why they cannot receive the vaccine. We encourage attendees who are unvaccinated or who have concerns to wear a well-fitting mask.

Will I need to register for the event?

  • To attend the event at MIT, certain events will require registration. More information will be sent out through the SP Alumni mailing list. If you have any questions, please email spec@mit.edu

What is the cost of attending events?

  • Many in-person events are free to attend, but some events have an additional fee. Event prices will be listed on the registration form.

How do I make a gift?

  • The easiest way to make a gift is with a credit card online at giving.mit.edu. You can also learn more about other methods, including gifts by check, wire transfer, stock, mutual fund transfers, and donor-advised funds.

Can I bring my family/children to an event?

  • Yes! For events with fees, we will ask you to indicate your party size.

How do I access Sidney-Pacific? Will I need an ID?

  • We will have a check-in area so that you can join us at the events. You will not need any other identification except for when obtaining alcoholic beverages.

Is there transportation/parking available?

  • Shuttles will be available to all alumni and guests. Shuttles will stop at the Hyatt Cambridge and Marriott Kendall hotels, dorms, parking lots, and several other venues on campus.

  • In addition to the Tech Reunions shuttles, reunion attendees may ride the MIT Tech Shuttle. It runs Monday–Friday, 6:15 a.m.–7:10 p.m.

  • Limited on-campus parking is available. We encourage attendees to use alternative transportation when coming back to campus, including public transportation, taxis, and ride-sharing apps like Lyft and Uber. However, if you must drive to campus, a limited number of parking passes for campus lots are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Will accommodations/room blocks be provided?

  • We will not be arranging specific room blocks at hotels for this event.

  • We will have limited on-campus accommodations available for those who would like to stay at Sidney-Pacific. Please contact us at spec@mit.edu if you are interested in staying at Sidney-Pacific.
