The SP-MORE donation program is opening up for new residents! We have a room full of donated items, courtesy of old residents, waiting to be claimed! New, incoming SP-residents can come in on Sept 10 and Sept 13 from 7:30 PM – 9 PM. All SP-residents welcome on Sept 17 from 7:30 PM – 9 PM.
Every summer, the Environment Office collects functional, gently-used items from old residents, and distributes them among new residents through the SP-MORE program. Donations include all kinds of electronics, kitchenware, furniture, office supplies, etc.
We will open the room to new, incoming SP-residents on Sept 10 and Sept 13 from 7:30 PM – 9 PM. We will also open the room again to all SP-residents on Sept 17 also from 7:30 PM – 9 PM. The SP-MORE room (room #278) is located on the second floor, right above the Sidney Street entrance to SP (this is not the main entrance), right next to the elevators.
Each resident will be allowed to take 1 large item from the room, or a set of a few smaller items (a set of plates or silverware for example). Items will be given out based on a first-come-first-serve basis. If you choose an item that is particularly large or heavy, please take it outside the room, and ask for a cart from the front desk.
